About Us

The Living Record was conceived by Dr. Mitchell Hecht, author of the nationally-syndicated Q and A medical column, “Ask Dr. H.” Dr. Hecht is an Atlanta physician in private practice specializing in Internal Medicine. It is the hope of Dr. Hecht and his co-founder and wife Carla that by arming folks with a current and accurate medical summary, patient care will be improved and medical errors will be reduced – particularly in the emergency and hospital settings.
